As a staffing firm our job is to find, screen, qualify and place employees in jobs of varying descriptions. A great majority of our work is in the industrial, manufacturing and construction areas. We also staff the office with reception, clerical or accounting personnel. We maintain a database of hundreds of available individuals in more than 40 different work classifications. There is never a fee to be on our roster.
We offer part or full time work under two types of job placements: Temporary or contract, where your assignment is on an interim basis and has a definite end date or Temp-to-Hire where your assignment is on a trial basis to determine if the job if a good fit for your skills, interests and career goals.
While specific jobs may last from a few days to several years, the best estimates for the average tenure of temporary/contingent employees range from four to six months. You can work full-time or part-time. Many individuals take temporary assignments as a "bridge" to a permanent job – and succeed. Assignments are made depending on the ratio of candidates to jobs, your skills, and your experience. CCS cannot guarantee your work schedule, or that you'll always get an assignment in your field.
